RARE 1890s Silk & Lace High Neck Watteau Dressing Gown
Incredibly rare and unbelievably stunning 1890s fine eggshell silk and lace wedding peignoir or dressing gown with stunning lace shoulder panels that hang beautifully off the shoulder, high neckline with pale pink ribbon ties, ruffled lace trim that cascades down the front opening of the dress with a built in creamy yellow silk satin sash. Voluminous sleeves trimmed is a fluted layer of lace as well as the hem of the dress. Watteau back ( gathered back that falls from the shoulder to floor that falls into a wide, sweeping, trained skirt.
