Antique Mid- Late 1800s Applique Quilt
Nearly pristine, and jaw dropping pattern. After doing research it looks to be a sylph of a 'Tulip' or possibly 'Pomegranate' Quilt. I spent a few days soaking and spot treating this beauty, there was absolutely no wear to thinking of fabric or tear, just covered in age spots and yellowing; but I was able to completely bring this one back to life. Circa later half to the 1800s, hand stitched appliqué quilt with overdyed green and turkey red pieces and a double border. Thin hand carded cotton batting and in perfect shape to use as bedding, decor, ect. You can see the cotton seeds in the last photo :)
Condition: As shown, a few small and faint marks ( really not noticeable) and a few small spots as shown on the back. Otherwise museum quality shape
