1910s Edwardian Khaki & Corduroy Riding Habit Dress
Special 1910s era Edwardian Khaki riding dress with contrasting corduroy collar and silk bow accent at bodice with decorative buttons down the length of the bodice and skirt. Inner waist belt as shown, snaps closures off center on the bodice for closures, as well as hidden snaps on the entire length of the front and back of the skirt as well; this feature on the dress would made bicycling or horse riding during that time much easier with the ability to un-snap the front/ and or back to give the legs room, and then snap back down when walking around in public to wear as a traditional dress.
Condition: Truly a rare and remarkable piece, with no real flaws to note, minor faint spot/ line or two
