Edwardian 1910s Striped Large Scale Floral Silk Angel Sleeve Morning Wrapper Gown
One of the most beautiful Edwardian wrapper gowns I've had; circa 1910s and made of a midnight blue striped silk background with a contrasting, vibrant large scale all over floral print. Smocked bodice with hook and eye closures, fluttery angel sleeves and attached sash at waist with bow and elongated ties (that could be fashioned around the front as well to cinch in waist if desired.) Light as air, and so much incredible movement with this piece
Condition: Overall nearly pristine, major flaw to note is the inner cream silk bodice lining has color bleed, obviously this is not seen when worn. Otherwise, a few small pin holes and a few areas of color bleed on the sleeves mostly, that are not noticed with the busy print. Strong and ready to be worn and loved for many more decades
