Special Turn Of The Century Hand Sewn Tape Lace & Linen Wedding Gown
Absolutely breathtaking and one of a kind turn of the century Battenburg tape lace and ivory linen wedding gown that was hand constructed and hand sewn. This gown features a high neckline with long sleeves, and a slightly fitted waist that then skims the hips and creates a full skirt. There are hook and eyes down the center back of the gown until about knee/shin level. This piece can be worn as modeled or with the hooks in front as well, and even worn open as floor length duster jacket on top of a dress, the options are truly endless

Condition: Great for age; there are some little ares that look where the thread switches from thicker original cord to thinner, as shown in the tape lace work areas. Small pin head size mark at back neck. Otherwise the only other thing to note is that this is over 100 years old and was hand stitched, so this should be worn with care, but is strong and ready to wear
